Privacy information regarding the use of Bruuxer.

1. Overview

Thank you for using Bruuxer. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. This privacy policy explains what data is collected when using the Bruuxer Android TV App and website.

In short: We do not collect personal data. Bruuxer is designed so that your data stays locally on your device.

2. The Bruuxer App

Local Data Storage

The Bruuxer app stores data exclusively locally on your device (Android TV / Fire TV Stick). This includes:

Browser history
Bookmarks / Favorites
Cookies and cache of visited websites
Saved passwords (if enabled by you)
High scores for integrated games

This data is never transmitted to developer servers. You have full control and can delete this data at any time in the app settings.

Permissions

The app requests the following permissions for its basic functions:

Internet: To load web pages (the core function of a browser).
Audio/Microphone (Optional): Only required if you use voice search. Audio data is processed locally or by the Android system's speech recognition service, not by Bruuxer itself.
Storage (Optional): Only required if you want to download files from the internet to your device.

Android System WebView

Bruuxer uses the "Android System WebView" component provided by Google to display web pages. When you visit a web page, this web page (as well as embedded Google services within WebView) may collect data (IP address, cookies, etc.) according to their own privacy policies. Bruuxer acts merely as a display window for this content.
